The term data-driven application is connected to the automatisation of company processes, applied to a variety of data and sources. Information becomes broadly available through a single app and analyses as well as operative decisions can be combined seamlessly. This modern data management approach of a company allows fast and useful results without an extensive IT infrastructure in the back.
Our developed prototypes (functional programs, at first without an elaborate user interface) allow to obtain an early feedback about processes in your company or the adequacy of a chosen solution approach. The applications are suited to your requirements and can be integrated into your infrastructure according to your preferences. In the next step the prototypes can also be expanded to a more comprehensive software code.
The recognition of patterns and principles in a collection of data is deeply connected to the term machine learning, an artificial system “learns” from examples and is able to make generalisations and to react to new situations in the end. We can take advantage to the computational power of modern computers or high performance clusters and apply such algorithms to problems of your company.
Classical examples of data-driven applications based on these principles:
- Image recognition, defect analysis, prediction of failure, etc. based on pre-trained neuronal networks
- Text analysis (e.g. via Google Cloud NLP),
- Text to speech or speech to text conversion
You are fabricating a product in a manufacturing process, where you constantly have to maintain the involved machines.
